Basically consists of a 2-3 hour operation in which a saline or silicon implant is inserted into the breasts. The procedure tends to be expensive although there is a growing trend of having the surgery done overseas as this is a cheaper option; however there maybe increased risk.

Other types of surgical procedures available are the transfer of fat cells from the bum to the breasts this procedure is similar to liposuction however the surgery can last for up to 6 hours. Another procedure developed by Macrolane is the injection of a Hyaluronic Acid Gel into the breasts to give the required breast size. There is, however, a limitation to the actual breast size that can be achieved as well as an annual maintenance cost to top up the Hyaluronic Acid Gel.

Breast Enhancing Creams and Lotions

There are a variety of creams and lotions containing various herbal ingredients. The most popular ingredients are Fennel, Fenugreek, Saw Palmetto and Wild Yam. The newest types of products in this classification are creams and serums containing Pueraria Mirifica or Mirofirm, in Triactol, the concentrated form of Pueraria Mirifica. Pueraria Mirifica is a herb grown in Northern Thailand which is known for its breast enhancing abilities.

Breast Enhancing Patches

One of the newest types of breast enhancement products is the breast enhancement patch which is either stuck onto the skin like a Band-Aid or placed inside the bra for the breasts to rest upon. Unfortunately I have only reviewed one manufacturer of breast enhancing patches up to now which was during a trip to Asia. The breast enhancing patches are placed under the breasts and left in place for up to 6 hours.

Breast Enhancing Capsules and Pills

Capsules and pills are the most common breast enhancement products on the market containing a wide variety of ingredients; some of the ingredients are known to have some breast enhancing properties others I believe are just fillers. The most common herbal ingredients are Fennel, Fenugreek, Saw Palmetto and Wild Yam various manufacturers have varying amounts, combinations and strengths of these ingredients. The other ingredients I have come across which are contained in the breast enhancing capsules and pills and do not in any way enhance breasts are Dandelion, Hops, Raspberry, Rhubarb, Violet and Watercress there are also numerous others. These additional ingredients reduce the active breast enhancing ingredient and may also allow the manufacture to reduce the cost.

Breast Enhancing Pricing

The large number of breast enhancing products and procedure available on the market brings a wide range of pricing options. The top end of the pricing structure is the liposuction fat transferral from bum to breasts currently about US$8000. The Macrolane procedure of breast injections is lower priced but tends to have a higher maintenance cost due to the requirement of an annual top of the Hyaluronic Acid Gel. The most common surgical procedure is breast implants; saline being the cheapest whereas silicon, which I believe is the best, costs about US$3000.

As we move down the price structure to the various capsules, creams, lotions and pills the price becomes more affordable. Basically in this category you get what you pay for. The top end of the market is Triactol Bust Serum containing Mirofirm the concentrated form of Pueraria Mirifica. The price of Triactol is US$358 for a 3 months supply however this contains 100% Pueraria Mirifica and no fillers and is the only product that is clinically proven to work. Triactol often runs discount promotions on orders of 3 months and above; you would probably be better off waiting for a promotion to make the product more affordable.

The cheapest breast enhancing option, up to now, is the breast enhancement patch; Anosa’s Patch is currently US$10 for 1 weeks supply.

As with any products it is the consumer’s choice as to what product is the most suitable for their needs and budget. Some consumers’ may select the instant option and are prepared for the risks associated with the surgery. Other consumers’ may prefer a product that is clinical proven or have a reluctance to take pills.
